The Legislative History of Bills database allows you to browse and search information on bills available in the database.

1. Browse by title of bills

Bills available in the database are listed in alphabetical order by titles.

To browse information of a particular bill, you can click the alphabet from the A to Z index and select the bill required

 
2. Search

To search for information of bills, you can type in keywords or phrases and then click the “Search” button.

The bills can be searched by “Title of Ordinance”, “Title of Bill”, “Title of Bills Committee” and “Keyword”.

Members’ bill: You can select to search for Members’ bills.
Date: You can also search by inputting the date range.
Return per page: You can specify the number of results to be displayed on each page.
 
3. Sorting search results

The search results are listed in descending chronological order of the Gazette dates of bills. You can arrange the search results in ascending or descending alphabetical order of bill titles and ascending or descending chronological order of the Gazette dates of bills.

 
4. Reset

You should click the “Reset” button for a new search.

 
5. Print

You can click the “Print this page” button to print the bill details.

 
6. Chinese Interface

You can click“繁體”to go to the Chinese interface.
